March 23, 2025. Reality TV host Donald Trump (78) publicly criticized movie and TV icon George Clooney (63) after the 2-time People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive, in a 60 Minutes interview, compared Trump’s administration to the McCarthyism depicted in the historical drama Good Night, and Good Luck.
After calling 60 Minutes “highly discredited” and Clooney a “second rate movie star,” Trump proceeded to prove Clooney’s point by calling for judges who disagreed with him to be charged with treason; telling people to vote against a “Radical Left Liberal” Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate; and attempting to discredit The New York Times.
