September 23, 2025. Donald Trump experienced difficulties getting it up a UN escalator on his way to deliver a sales pitch to world leaders on renovating the UN building.
“I would do it for $500 million, rebuilding everything,” he told world leaders. “It would be beautiful. I’m going to give you marble floors. … [t]he best of everything. You’re going to have mahogany walls. Sadly, all I got from the UN was an escalator that, on the way up, stopped.”
Moments earlier, when Donald Trump’s escalator failed, he paused unsure what to do before his wife Melania decided to take care of herself and leave her husband behind.
